Dr. D. Malleswara Rao
Dr. D. Malleswara Rao is a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and the Chief of Cath Labs (Germanten Hospitals and Asian vascular hospitals) at Hyderabad. He received his MBBS and MD (Medicine) degrees from Gandhi medical college (NTRUHS), Hyderabad, Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, and his DM (Cardiology) postdoctoral, super specialty degree from NIMS, Hyderabad.
Dr. D. Malleswara Rao has performed over 10,500 PTCA and Complex Intervention procedures, including Rotablation, Left Main stenting, and Bifurcation stenting, among others. He is skilled in electrophysiology procedures, RF ablation, cryo-ablation, cool-tip ablation, ICD, CRTs, pacemaker implantation, device/lead extraction, coronary and peripheral angioplasty, renal and carotid angioplasty, radial artery route angiograms, balloon valvotomy, etc.
Dr. D. Malleswara Rao has extensive teaching experience as well. During his MD programme between 2012 and 2015, he instructed medical students at the undergraduate level. Later, during his DM program, he instructed both postgraduate and undergraduate medical students.
